Most print magazines and journals are located in alphabetical order by title in the periodicals section unless otherwise noted.

  • American Art Review - Chronicles the emergence and growth of American painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and decorative arts with intelligence, sensitivity, style, authority and historical insight.
  • American Artist - The leading monthly magazine for representational and figurative artists. They’ve been inspiring and instructing readers for 75 years by publishing articles that are geared towards helping artists improve their skills through the use of step by step demonstrations, examples and insights into the work of master painters and a wealth of information pertaining to workshops and advanced studies. 
  • Aperture - An international quarterly journal specializing in photography. 
  • Architectural DigestAn American monthly magazine whose principal subject is interior design, rather than architecture more generally.
  • Art Education - The official journal of the National Art Education Association. Art Education covers a diverse range of topics of professional interest to art educators and anyone whose interest is quality visual arts education.
  • Art in America - An illustrated monthly, international magazine concentrating on the contemporary art world in the United States, including profiles of artists and genres, updates about art movements, show reviews, and event schedules.
  • Art News - An American visual-arts magazine which covers art from the ancient to the contemporary. It includes news dispatches from correspondents, investigative reports, reviews of exhibitions, and profiles of artists and collectors.
  • Arts & Activities - Arts & Activities is a source for creative ideas, inspiration, classroom resources and art-education information, and is also used as a text in teacher-education programs at colleges and universities around the world. Volumes from 2010 to the present are located in the Commons, while older issues (through 2009) are located in the Periodicals Section on the 2nd floor of Murrell Library. In both locations, the journals are arranged in alphabetical order by title.
  • HOW - A bimonthly magazine for graphic designers. Regular sections on business, creativity, design, and technology help designers to become more inspired, more creative, and more successful.
  • Museum Magazine - Addresses the issues and challenges facing museums today and is a must-read for those who work for museums and those who love them.
  • NAHA News - NAHS News is the official newsletter of the National Art Honor Society .Published semi-yearly (January and May) in electronic-only format, it contains news and photos on NAHS chapter activities, student artwork, award winners, and information on financial aid.
  • New Ceramics - The European ceramics magazine.
  • Pottery Making Illustrated - Offers studio potters timely information on materials, techniques, supplies and equipment.
  • Sculpture - An art magazine published by the International Sculpture Center.
